Mirna is a Mental Health Occupational Therapist with a passion for working with adults to improve their mental health and overall well-being. Her vision is to foster greater meaning and purpose in the lives of people affected by mental health challenges to help build a hopeful future.

She has worked in multidisciplinary teams in hospital-based and community mental health settings. Mirna draws on a range of evidence-based approaches in her practice including cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy skills, mindfulness, sensory modulation, behavioural activation, graded exposure, life skills development, and motivational interviewing, among others.
Mirna works with people with a wide range of complex mental health conditions. Her expertise includes but is not limited to depression, anxiety, eating disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder, neurodivergence, and chronic diseases. She also enjoys working with people with other disabilities to improve their mental health and psychosocial functioning.
Mirna offers professional development and supervision for other Occupational Therapists working in mental health care.
In her spare time, Mirna enjoys travelling, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
