Jade Drysdale

Senior Occupational Therapist

Jade is a mental health occupational therapist and is a strong advocate and has a very empathic and patient approach to the needs of her clients and their families to ensure they are feeling heard.

Jade has extensive experience working alongside adults with complex mental health care needs. She has worked in the acute hospital mental health setting for over seven years as part of a multidisciplinary team and has more recently joined the community mental health space. She draws on an array of evidence-based practice and processes to guide her interventions to provide holistic, trauma-informed care including but not limited to cognitive and functional rehabilitation, sensory modulation, mindfulness, supportive counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, graded exposure and the development of structure and routines to build and support a meaningful and purposeful life.

Jade works with people experiencing a range of mental health conditions including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar affective disorder, psychosis, depression and anxiety. She is also experienced working with individuals diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. Jade has a special interest in functional cognition and working with people who experience dual mental health and neurodivergence.

Jade loves spending quality time with her beloved dog, family and friends. She loves travel, music and movement but is also very partial to some down time on the couch with some ice-cream.
